Master Gardener℠ volunteers in Dare County will be available at the Outer Banks Arboretum and Teaching Garden every Wednesday from April to November, weather permitting from 9 to 11 a.m. Bring your garden questions, samples, and photos or pick up a soil sample kit.Extension Master Gardener booth

Also on Wednesdays, you will find Master Gardener℠ volunteers working throughout the Outer Banks Arboretum & Teaching Garden and they are always happy to answer your questions.

The Outer Banks Arboretum & Teaching Garden is free, open 365 days a year from sun-up to sun-down. There are handicap-accessible trails, a sensory garden, a composting demonstration area, native plants, lawn test plots, a butterfly highway, and much more! The Outer Banks Arboretum & Teaching Garden is located at 300 Mustian Street, Kill Devil Hills.
